Shade Fittings

SPIDER FITTER
If your lamp has a harp you will need a shade with a washer fitter. The washer fitter sits on top of the harp and is secured by a finial. It's the most common lamp shade fitter. (see left photo)

UNO FITTER
Common Uno fitter is sit on the socket and held in place by the bulb.
Threaded-UNO Fitter typically for down-bridge lamps and features a screw thread for installation above the downward-facing bulb. (see right photos)

EURO FITTER
Also called slip uno, sit on the socket and are held in place by the socket which has outer ring. (see left photo)

BULB CLIP FITTER
It's attached directly to a standard household light bulb. (see right photo)

CANDLE/FLAME CLIP
Typically for chandeliers. The fitter you need if the light bulb is the pointed type bulb. These lampshades are normally smaller than the shades that fit on a standard light bulb. The pointed (candle/flame) light bulbs are also generally smaller in size. (see left photo)

REFLECTOR BOWL SPIDER FITTER
If your lamp has a reflector bowl inside the shade, a reflector spider fitter may be needed to secure its position. These fitters feature grooves in the spider arms for the secure positioning of reflector bowl. (see right photo)

CHIMNEY RING FITTER
This is the fitter required if the lampshade sits directly on a glass lamp chimney. A chimney ring fitter lampshade can be used on traditional glass oil lamps as well as on brass lamps. Any of our fabrics are safe to use for this application. (see left photo)
